Wpf combobox selectedindex not updating world of dating bbc3

Nevertheless, I added the code in the setter of Selected Blood Group Index, but it doesn't do any good.

The problem is that when I load a user that already exists, the role is not displayed in the combobox (even the user has a role defined). Thanks in advance In my opinion the second option on this page is the easiest way.An implementation of using the WPF Combo Box using MVVM patterns. The intention is to get a Combo Box control’s Selected Item property to bind to an instance of a selected object, so that when the Selected Item is changed, all other entities that are bound to it are also updated. I need to get the value of the Selected Index (or Selected Item or Selected Value) of a combo box in to my View Model code (i.e., when a user selects an item in the combo box, I need that index (or item or value) to update a property in the View Model code).

I've followed the suggestions in Sheridan's answer and Felix C's answer but my property is not getting updated when the selected item changes. I need to do the same thing with a day Index var (for my Day combo box) but day Index is calculated - it's not a declaration as month Index is above. e.g., if today (6/30) had three events, such events would be stored as 30, 30.1, and 30.2 (in Observable Collection), and there is a corresponding index for each event.

My trouble is the UI does not reflect the binding value the first time I load the page; it updates works correctly all other times, but the combobox does not show any selection after the page is initially loaded.
